TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk High School (THS) students recently had the opportunity to check out several City of Tomahawk Public Works operations.
Instructor Brian Schiltz said the tour visited several key municipal locations, such as the City Garage, Waterworks and Wastewater Treatment Facility, as well as the Lincoln County Garage.
Throughout these visits, the students “gained valuable insight into each site’s daily operations and explored the diverse career opportunities available within these essential public service sectors,” according to Schiltz.
“Special thank you to Jason Lemmer and Nick Rosenmeier for their insight and assistance in making this immersion project possible,” Schiltz stated.
