TOMAHAWK – Last week, a group of Tomahawk eighth graders took a trip to Washington, D.C., and New York City.
The students visited the Holocaust Museum, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, iconic Washington, D.C. monuments, several Smithsonian museums, the Statue of Liberty and Arlington National Cemetery.
The east coast adventure also included seeing the hit Broadway play Hamilton and catching a baseball game at Camden Yards.
“The week was filled with adventure, discovery and meaningful learning experiences,” the School District of Tomahawk said. “A special thank you to our dedicated adult chaperones whose time, support and commitment helped make this trip possible.”
