Insuk “Kimmy” K. Kim, age 78, of Gleason, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her home, under the care of her family and Aspirus Hospice. Kimmy was born in South Korea on August 25, 1948, where she spent her childhood and attended school before coming to the United States in 1976. She began her career with Harley-Davidson in 1988, where she worked for many years until her retirement.
Kimmy had many interests and found joy in the simple things that made her happy. She enjoyed playing the piano and had a special love for shopping. Whether it was a unique clock, a designer purse to add to her collection, or one of the many other treasures she simply couldn’t pass up, Kimmy took great pleasure in each new find. She was best known throughout the area for her love of cooking and her eggrolls became a much-loved favorite among family and friends. Truly one of a kind, Kimmy had a beautiful smile, a wonderful sense of humor, and a personality that will not soon be forgotten.
Survivors include her long-time significant other, Dennis Ducommun; her son, John Foreman; her daughters, Jennifer (Adam) Massa and Jessica Foreman (Shane Emmer); her grandchildren, Sancia Scharhag, Olivia Fischer, Jaiden Foreman, Michael Emmer, Ava Emmer, Kallie Massa, Riley Massa, AJ Massa, and Ella Hess; and her great-granddaughter, Vivianna Mendez. Kimmy is further survived by her stepchildren, Chad (Erin) Ducommun and Darrell (Jolene) Ducommun; and her step-grandchildren, Alec, Bronson, Autumn, Liberty, and Logan Ducommun. Kimmy was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; and her grandson, Samuel Massa.
In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
