TOMAHAWK – Last week, the School District of Tomahawk gave a shoutout to those who contributed to Tomahawk Middle School (TMS)’s fundraiser last year.
The district said support from the community, the Middle School Student Council and the district’s Building and Grounds Department allowed for new playground equipment to be installed.
TMS students went from having no playground equipment to three playground areas, the district noted, adding that the transformation was “made possible by the generosity of our community and support of our activity account.”
“As a school, we are passionate about putting funds right back into our students, and this is a wonderful example of that commitment in action,” the district stated. “Most importantly, students are loving the new equipment!”
The district also thanked the football team for helping lay mulch under the new swings.
“We appreciate everyone who played a part in making this possible,” the district said.
