TOMAHAWK – The School District of Tomahawk this week introduced its new teachers and administrators for the 2026-27 school year.
Brad Potter
Position: High School Principal
Hometown: Oconto, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: Go Pack Go! Mountain biking, travel.
What are you most excited about in your new role? Working toward student achievement and then watching it happen.
Cale Zuiker
Position: High School Associate Principal
Hometown: Marshfield, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: Family time, lifting weights, running, officiating youth sports, reading.
What are you most excited about in your new role? I am very excited to get to know students and staff in Tomahawk!
Shaylee Klenke
Position: High School English Teacher
Hometown: Neenah, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: I love traveling, hiking and skiing. I recently got back from Colorado, Spain and the Canary Islands. I absolutely loved it! Hiking mountains is the best way to clear my mind and connect with nature. I would recommend it to anyone!
What are you most excited about in your new role? I am so excited to make connections in a small school and have a positive impact on everyone I interact with.
Heather Goldberg
Position: High School Alternative Education Teacher
Hometown: Pine Lake, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: Playing trombone and flute in local music groups, traveling, kayaking, reading and coaching Science Olympiad.
What are you most excited about in your new role? The opportunity to personalize educational paths for students.
Zane Westberg
Position: Middle School Social Studies Teacher
Hometown: Merrill, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: One of my favorite things outside of the classroom is traveling. I enjoy experiencing new cultures and crossing paths with people from around the world, I have recently traveled to Iceland and Vietnam and hope to continue traveling across the world throughout my education career.
What are you most excited about in your new role? I am most excited about building meaningful relationships with middle school students and becoming an active part of the community they call home. I believe teaching is a two-way learning experience, and I look forward to learning just as much from my students as they learn from me!
Kasie Holt
Position: Middle School Counselor
Hometown: Merrill, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: Current hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, walking, making lists, coaching, watching and playing volleyball (year-round, by choice), and ice cream (not officially a hobby, but I'm committed).
What are you most excited about in your new role? After spending 10 years at the high school level, it was time for a new challenge...and middle school sounded relaxing. As an added bonus, I can beat students at four square during recess. Truly, I'm excited for the opportunity to build new relationships with students, staff and families, while becoming part of the Tomahawk community.
T'Neal Morris
Position: Middle School Special Ed. Teacher
Hometown: Arbor Vitae, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: I love to bake and cook homemade meals. I also love working in the garage, woodworking and refinishing old furniture to bring it a new life.
What are you most excited about in your new role? I am excited for the new opportunities to work with students at the middle school level. To work as a team for the successes of all the students in the classrooms I enter, not just the classroom I have.
Kay Pickar
Position: High School Counselor
Hometown: Valders, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: Reading, horseback riding, NASP Archery, swimming, camping, gardening and drinking coffee with caramel creamer.
What are you most excited about in your new role? A chance to learn from a great group of people how to impact students in this new role.
Mickala Ferge
Position: School Social Worker
Hometown: Neenah, Wis.
Interests/hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside on the water in the summer, attending sporting events of all kinds and traveling.
What are you most excited about in your new role? I'm most excited about being able to support students through whatever challenges they may have and also being able to create a safe and welcoming space where students feel supported and enjoy coming to school.
