CRANDON – On Tuesday, Feb. 3, the Tomahawk Middle School (TMS) wrestling team took part in a nine-team scramble in Crandon.
Other teams competing were Crandon, John Muir, MHLT, Rhinelander, Wabeno/Laona, Three Lakes, Phillips and Menominee Nation.
The Hatchet wrestlers finished the night with a 65% win percentage, their best performance of the year.
The following Tomahawk athletes came away with at least one victory on the night: Spencer Baumann, Brayden Nowak, RJ Guzman, Brantley Budzynski, Micah Cerkus, Brian Hughes, Cooper McMeekin, Jase Nowak, Lexi Palmer, Hector Luna Perez, Adam Massa, Hallie Pierce, Pryce Roberts, Ryan Quesinberry, Layton Taves, Latrell Williams and Chloe Williamson.
Upcoming action
The middle school Hatchet grapplers are slated to be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 10 for a conference scramble at Wisconsin Rapids.
