WAUSAU – The Wisconsin Junior Golf Tour held their end of the year award ceremony at Tribute Golf course in Wausau on Saturday, Oct. 18, and Tyler Totch of Tomahawk took home the Player of the Year award for the 10- to 13-year-old age division.
Only 50 points separated the first- and second-place finishers in the competitive age group.
Totch competed in eight events throughout the summer, claiming 1st place in three events and five top-four finishes.
Totch said his favorite course he played this summer was at Sentry World, where he took 2nd place even after double-bogeying the last three holes.
Totch frequently spends time at Inshalla Country Club, on both the course and the range.
